Manuela is a well-regarded tech-savvy professional recognized for her ability to communicate business challenges and technological ideas concisely, understandable, and practically – from strategic planning and budgets to mentoring new talent to evangelizing and bringing new technologies to market. Manuela currently works for Banco Santander as the Innovation Manager. She is based in London and is in charge of creating new business models and deploying new technology for the Group. Manuela was extensively involved in the fintech area before banking, operating a blockchain startup, and closely engaging with regulators, investors, and incumbent financial institutions to explore new, more collaborative methods to reimagining financial services.
