Galia is a technologist that Co-founded Bancor, which established the Bancorp protocol.
With its initial coin offering (ICO), Bancor raised $153 million in just a few hours to help propel the company forward. The Bancor protocol allows anybody to build a Smart Token, a new digital coin that can hold and trade other tokens. The Smart Token contract acts as its market maker, automatically delivering price discovery and liquidity to other currencies. Galia is a prominent woman in crypto recognized by Forbes and Glamour Magazine; she has been on Bloomberg TV and CNBC and has lectured on monetary theory and innovation at the United Nations, TEDx, and the Oslo Freedom Forum. Galia was also a co-founder of Mytopia, the world’s first social game for mobile phones, and Particle Code, a cross-platform mobile app development engine.
