Marta is the General Counsel and Head of Policy at Protocol Labs, Board Chair of Filecoin Foundation, and Special Counsel to the Electronic Frontier Foundation. In addition, Marta worked as a blockchain and emerging technology attorney at Ropes & Gray in San Francisco. Marta is a pioneer in cryptocurrency law, having given talks before the U.S. Congress, the Parliament of Europe, the Senate of New York, the OECD, and the World Economic Forum in Davos on the issue. Marta has been nominated to Law360’s Top Attorneys Under 40 and has received two Financial Times Innovative Lawyer Awards.
