Laura Shin is a widely respected journalist who has been covering the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry for over five years. Laura broke into the journalist gig as an assistant producer and reporter role at Newsweek before moving over to The Wall Street Journal Online department for a short stint, before accepting a producer role with The New York Times. Laura then branched out on her own for about a decade as a freelance writer before joining CBS and SmartPlanet. Laura next joined the staff at Forbes around 2017 initially as a contributor covering crypto assets, Bitcoin, Ethereum, ICO, and blockchain technology.
