Dawn is a University of California, Berkely professor in the Computer Science Division, where she has taught for over 15 years. Dawn was previously a professor at Carnegie Mellon University for five years. Dawn obtained her Master of Science in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon while obtaining her Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Dawn’s research interests involve deep learning, artificial intelligence, applied cryptography, security, databases, algorithms design, blockchain, and decentralized systems. In 2018, Dawn founded Oasis Labs, where she is the CEO. Oasis Labs focuses on building the next generation of privacy technology and developer tools for early startups scaling to Fortune 500 companies.
