Tess has a background in computer science and has worked for businesses like Microsoft, CloudMine, Chain, Medium, Chain, and Intersellar. Tess currently works for the Interchain Foundation as a VP of Engineering. At Interchain, Tess leads a team that builds open-source infrastructure for numerous networks such as Cosmos. The Interchain team has also played a significant role in developing a proof of stake consensus engine for Tendemint Core. Previously, Tess worked on storage and protocol issues at Chain, but she’s most concerned with keeping engineering teams happy and productive. Tess also worked at Medium as a full-stack programmer, where one of her initiatives was the social graph service, which was Medium’s first Go-based service.
