Katie is a well-respected consultant and General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, a highly touted Silicon Valley venture capital firm.
Katie has a wealth of legal experience in the Fintech industry. As a federal prosecutor, she spent a decade investigating fraud, cybercrime, and corporate crime for organizations including the SEC, FBI, and Treasury Departments. She established the government’s first cryptocurrency task force and oversaw investigations into the Mt. Gox attack and the Silk Road task force’s corrupt agents. After graduating with honors from Stanford Law School, Katie worked as an assistant to the United States Department of Justice and coordinator for their Digital Currency section. Kathryn is now a Board Member at f Coinbase and OpenSea and General Partner of Andreessen Horowitz.
