Angela is a principal and partner in Version One Ventures, a firm started and led by Boris Wertz. Angela joined the firm as an analyst in 2014 and became a principal in 2017. As part of its portfolio, Version One Ventures investments include the likes of Blockstack, Coinbase, and other tech companies. Early-stage investment fund business Version One Ventures was initially created by Boris Wertz and is managed by Angela Tran Kingyens. Startups in the SaaS, marketplace, cryptocurrency, financial technology and healthcare areas are targets of the venture fund for investments. After graduating from Stanford University, Angela moved to Palo Alto. She co-founded Insight Data Science, a six-week training program that helps PhDs transition from academic research to industrial jobs.
