Andy is the Co-Founder and CEO of HumanFirst, previously known as Elektra Labs. HumanFirst enables effective and equitable healthcare operations from home. The company acts as a hub with an API-based infrastructure enabling decentralized trials and distributed care. More than 30 angel investors fund HumanFirst. Funders include Maverick Venture, Lux Capital, Threshold Ventures, Arkitekt Ventures, Boost VC SV Angel, and Village Global. HumanFirst is developing a search platform that will make it easier for individuals to locate, choose, and develop new digital biomarkers and sensors. The project is an open-source database of digital biomarkers providing data related to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and neurodegenerative illnesses. Earlier in her career, Andy was a Duke Engage Fellow at Social Entrepreneur Corps in 2008 and worked for McKinsey & Company from 2009 till 2013. Andy was then hired as an Associate at KKR Capstone in 2013, leaving the company in 2015 to work as a Full-Stack Software Developer at Dev Bootcamp. Andy then worked as a software developer for Instacart during 2016. In 2017, Andy then Co-founded Elektra Labs, now known as HumanFirst.
