Lucia is a Natural Language Development Professor at Imperial College of London and Sheffield University. Previously, she was a senior lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton. Lucia obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Sao Paul, Brazil, where her research focused on elements of data-driven language processing techniques and multimodal and multilingual context models. Lucia’s research applies to various tasks, including machine translation, imaging, quality assessment, and text adjustment. Recently, Lucia has been working on many research projects about machine translation, including multilingual video captioning and text adaption, which are sure to play a significant part in promoting IA-driven technologies.
