Layla is presently a research team leader at Borealis A.I. in Montreal. Borealis I.A. IS an RBC Institute for Research center dedicated to achieving state-of=the art machine learning, supporting open academic collaborations with world-class research centers in artificial intelligence. N.L.P., GANS, profound learning, and unsupervised learning. Layla is also a Microsoft alum, having worked as a research manager. Layla previously collaborated with Yoshua-Bengio with R.B.C.’s in-depth science and investigation into the theory of master learning and applications. Layla received a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Data Science at the University of Lorraine in 2016. She graduated from the Canadian firm Maluuba in 2016, working as a scientist and working on user simulation, enhanced learning, and dialog systems datasets. In 2017, Layla joined Microsoft as a research manager managing a team focusing on conversational I.A. and language processing through the purchase of Maluuba.
