Flora is the Head of A.I. Research at Streem and the co-founder of the A.R. startup Selerio. Possessing degrees from Rhodes University, Cape Town, and Cambridge University, Flora enjoys a solid academic background in technology; she has a BSc in Computer Science, MSc Computer Science, and Ph.D. Computer Science from these respective institutions. Her work recovering 3D models from photos and drawings earned her the 2014 Google European Doctoral Fellowship in Computer Graphics. Selerio, Cambridge spin-off, expands on this work by offering developers real-time 3D reconstruction and modification of real-world scenes for more engaging augmented reality experiences. Entrepreneur First and Betaworks have funded Selerio, co-founded by Flora. Flora is also the Director of CV/AI Research at Streem Inc., a company she co-founded that creates new ways for mapping user surroundings and comprehending physical reality.
