Corinna is the Head of Google Research in New York, a position which she has filled for 18 years. Corinna is a computer scientist from Denmark who is well-known for her work in machine learning. Corinna is the co-recipient of the Paris Kanellakis Theory and Practice Award with Vladimir Vladimir. The award extended in 2008 was for developing support vector machine theoretical underpinnings, which is an effective supervised learning method. Corinna’s research focuses on various machine learning issues, including support vector machines and data mining. Corinna previously worked at AT&T on the Hancock data mining programming language.
