Alessya is the C.E.O. and Co-Founder of WhyLabs, an A.I. observability platform created by former Amazon Machine Learning engineers to allow any company to operate A.I. confidently. WhyLabs aims to build a superior interface between humans and A.I. applications as A.I. is adopted across various industry sectors. The WhyLabs platform is designed to enable operational teams to work with improved certainty by providing model monitoring, preventing costly model failures, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. WayLabs was started at the Allen Institute and is a private ventured funded company. Alessya previously worked on Amazon’s demand forecasting model. As the team’s most experienced engineer, then joined Madrona Venture Labs for a short stint, then moved over to the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (A12) CTO-in- Residence. After leaving AI2, Alessay started WhyLabs.
